Cookie Policy
Last updated: 6 November 2026.
This policy explains cookies and similar technologies used on the APEX CARD CO Competitions website. The operator is Dean Hodgson, a sole trader trading as APEX CARD CO Competitions. Contact dean@apexcardco.co.uk with privacy or cookie questions.
What these technologies do
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies include browser storage, scripts and pixels. They can support website security, sign-in, basket functions and saved preferences, or measure how a website is used.
Our current setup
The website uses Basecomp. Its current configuration uses strictly necessary website storage and Basecomp basic cookieless analytics. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, X Pixel, Pinterest, Reddit, Adjust and custom tracking are not enabled in our tracking settings.
Basecomp describes its basic analytics as using a visitor-counting key that resets daily, without tracking cookies or following visitors across websites. Cookieless analytics may still involve technical information; see our Privacy Policy for how personal information is handled.
Necessary website storage
Essential storage supports functions you request, such as keeping you signed in, remembering your basket and protecting forms. Blocking or deleting it may prevent those functions from working. The platform-generated summary below describes the storage and tracking categories for the current setup.
Your choices
There are currently no optional tracking choices to manage in this configuration. You can use your browser settings to inspect, block or delete cookies and other site data. Deleting site data may sign you out or clear your basket.
If we introduce tracking that requires consent, we will provide the relevant information and choices before enabling it. Continuing to browse or accepting website terms is not consent to optional tracking.
External websites
Links to Instagram and other external websites take you to services with their own cookies, privacy notices and settings. Review their information before using those services.
Changes and contact
We review this notice when our setup changes. For questions, email dean@apexcardco.co.uk. Read this policy alongside our Privacy Policy.
Cookies and tracking on this site
This summary is kept up to date automatically and reflects the cookies and tracking technologies currently active on this site.
Strictly necessary
Always on - these are required for the site to work and can't be switched off. They keep you signed in, remember the items in your basket, protect forms against fraud, and store your cookie choices so we don't ask on every visit.
Analytics
We measure how the site is used so we can improve it. With your consent, we set a cookie that lets us recognise a returning device, so we can count unique visitors accurately and understand the journey to a purchase. If you decline, analytics stays cookieless.
Managing your choices
You can change your cookie choices at any time.
